Prose & Poetry rocks, OK I had an idea so I'm building it ..

Here is the note card I just wrote up.

1. If you are a writer or poet please drop me a note of a 250 character or less of an original literary work that you would like to display for reading here. Since there are a limited number of rocks, at this time 22, I plan to moderate, and upload the story stones. I will be on-line about 4 times a week on weekdays, my weekends in RL are scheduled.

2. If you are a reader and or a writer just visiting to read welcome.

Copies of prose & poetry rocks are for sale, royalties will be paid to the writer. Any Lindens paid to me, Uva Oxide will go toward further expansion of the 2 be narrative reading garden. Also if would like to tip a writer please just search for their names in People and pay them a compliment in IM and or Linden dollars directly to their profile.

3. If you do not find poetry or prose that you like here, please submit a poem or original bit or prose yourself, or TP / IM a writer friend who may be interested in displaying a tiny story or poem here. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Oslar/224/11/265

4. I am starting simple working with the “limitations” :-P.. of SL. 250 letters and spaces is the limit of readable floating text, but if you would like the story to continue on note cards placed inside the story rock, that might be interesting. But, who knows, maybe 250 characters is a good brevity for reading in such a multi layered world where many people are often in two or three conversations at the same time.

5.This is the beginning stages of prose & poetry on the rocks. An experiment and hopefully a fun place to browse tiny stories and poems, any time you happen to be in SL. The goal is for writers to be able to plant a bit of their work here, to share and express themselves, no matter if their audience is on-line or at the same event in world at the same time or not.
