As many of you already know, I have recently gone back to “Corporate America” after being a stay at home mom and running my own child care business for the last 12 years. My girlfriend told me to allow for a month of “mass chaos” before things start to settle down. She just went through the same process about a year ago.

Well, this week was my one month anniversary. My 30 days of chaos have included the death of a grand parent, 2 hospital admittances for my mom, an illness that seems to have gotten ahold of Rich and won’t let go and my 23 year old neice and her 18 month old son being involved in a head on collision.

As many of you know, Rich Desoto/Palmer is in California this week promoting his Chidren’s Saftey Songs CD. The report from the home front is as follows:

It’s not “all good.” This “avatar girl” is missing her music man. “I used to sleep,” but now I wait for my cell to ring just to hear the “avatar girl” ring tones. Its too quiet in the house . . .no music coming from the other room!! The silence is deafening!! Hurry up and get your RL/SL butt home!!!! We need a Rich Desoto live music fix!! LOL

As most of my friends know, I have been looking to go back to work after being a stay home mom and private child care provider for 12 years. I started the interviewing process with 2 major companies just last week. Interviewing for work after 12 years was quite a shock to the nerves, I must say. The interview that I went on yesterday was a whopping 3.5 hours long!!!! Talk about a stressful day!!

But, today after the SL die in at the G & B Terrace, my RL phone rang. I couldn’t be more thrilled. After 3.5 hours of testing and interviewing . . . I was made an offer for the position!!!

I was soooo sad today . .. SL made it difficult to have our regular die in at the Goddess and Banana Terrace. SL apparently blocked log ins this morning and all my friends were locked out. It was such a lonely feeling waiting to die by myself. Yxes and Banana . .. I kept the family tradition and died in style wearing my best black. I missed you all and will see you (hopefully) on the other side. As a post script . .. figures this morning I was hitting lots of S lucky chairs!!!!!

Geeze, I hate it when I’m winning at the casino and I go to cash out but don’t get paid. These last few days the asset servers have been awful!!! If you play the slots you are doing it at your own risk. Payout is very iffy. Cash out before your winnings get too high, that way if you don’t get paid you aren’t out as much. If the situation continues like this much longer … I may be forced to find a new hobby in SL :0(

OMG . . .just left the Bucket “I Love the 70’s Party”!!! What an awesome time!! Corey spun the best 70’s music . .. we danced . ..I had some pretty serious hair goin on (complements of Spunky Burrito, thanks hun) … and the disco attire was groovy!! Check out the pics of me and my hair!!!!

It was amazing listening to all the 70’s music and remembering what you were doing when you hear each of the songs play.
