"I have a platinum heart."

Thanks to everybody who’s asked me about what’s going on and privately or publicly expressed a willingness to listen. As of right now I’m choosing not to write about it. The people who know what’s going on have pretty much been bombarded with it since the day after the engagement occurred, and it’s been a roller coaster of ups and downs. So, I’d just like to have some calm.

I will say this.

There is a mature way and an immature way to handle this. That doesn’t mean a mixed-up mishmosh of mature and immature, that doesn’t mean be mature for 80% of the time and immature for 20% of the time, that doesn’t mean it’s okay to poke the bear if you only do it once or twice.

I have this habit of taking the high road. I don’t intend to change the way I’ve always done things.

Trying to hurt someone after everything’s said and done is just stupid, ignorant, and childish.

I was surprised. I won’t be surprised any more. Now I know what to expect.
