Running in Circles revisited

We’ve always had fun running in circles around each other for no particular reason, but chug and I were testing the beta grid to get ready for the last SL Podcast news (one of Pickle’s many podcasts) and found it even more fun with voice. Hearing the person’s voice go around you as they run circles around you guarantees we probably won’t stop running once the main grid has voice.

Another thing we found was of course, the accents. It’s great hearing them. And people we talked to seemed to have more fun - you could hear the lauging as we joked with total strangers and it was a lot of fun. It can be tricky at times to figure out who says what or what voice is attached to who though.

Shaving with dual blades

any of you former samurai who haven’t been out to edo or SI for awhile, check out the musashi dual blade set up. for 1000L you can be one of the coolest looking samurai in town. it won’t help you if you suck already, but you’ll look cool before you are sliced down and spit upon by your mortal enemy.

the one downside is that the “hit power” of the blades is less than the single blade C:SI swords. i guess the rationale was that it would quickly become unfair for those with only one blade. hmmm. in rl it wouldn’t matter which blade snagged you as it went by, you’d have a bleeding problem and possibly a tissue connectivity problem either way. in rl, each blade being wielded is the same as if it were the only one being swung around by the angry person doing the swinging.
