Concierge summer party

I was lucky to be able to attend the Concierge summer party. I was allowed to bring a guest so of course I brought Adrianna. It was fun but so many people so there were times I could not move, and I rarely get any lag on SL. There were 8 SIM set up all under water and each one different. It was a cool event and we enjoyed it. We were near some people at one point and they were complaining what the point of the event was. It was for fun! Some people just like to complain about everything. They were complaining about other things as well. From their complaints I wonder why they even log on to Second Life. Kind of made me angry during the event. However, I look forward to the next one!

Some people have to always complain about everything that the Lindens do, no matter what it is. It sounds like it was a fun party, though!

Glad you had fun!
I complain about the Lindens, but it’s always in fun - I absolutely understand their plight. I’m an i.t. tech and I *know* how hard it is to please everyone all the time - especially when it comes to the technical world.
I used to go all crazy on the Everquest and WoW forums when people were blathering about class action lawsuits and the like if the game was down for a few hours or days. Trust me, these people are doing the *best* they can at any given moment to make your experience in their world as hassle-free and pleasant as possible; they wouldn’t be in business long otherwise. Even better, these techy-folk have a passion for the worlds they work in, they’re just as disappointed as the next guy when things don’t work right and you better belief they’re pulling all-nights and hella overtime to fix it.
I’m glad you guys went and enjoyed yourselves, and always like to hear that someone appreciates all the work that goes on in the background. ^_^

Yeah it was great. I think the Lindens do their best. I have never had any trouble in Second Life. Running SL can’t be easy. People just blame any kind of problem when in SL on SL. I think 90% of the problems people have with lag etc. are with their computers or their connection and not SL. Being a SIM owner I can understand why the Lindens don’t appear inworld so often. Nothing kills the day like capped IMs and tons coming in as soon as you login.
