Just chopped down my castle in the sky! My Second Life symbol for the American Dream! I realized that this castle I had built in the sky on-top of a bean stalk — like the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, was for me a metaphor for the American Dream. And I chopped my dream down because the giants ARE grinding our bones to make their bread !

I logged on for a few min. today, went to a few galleries, and then logged out and looked at this site. And it said that I had been on line for 10 hours today;-P ??!!! and enough hours for a full time job this week? hm.. Is some other AV wearing my stats bracelet wandering around logging hours for me? I think that is kinda nice, just as long as they aren’t me of course :-D.

Is it the manic mood I’m in? Or is it just that it might be better to be free of land? A year seemed like a long time to play a few months ago, now I’m thinking about cashing in and not keeping my premium account. Is it not worth the same amount of fun as say three salads, a pizza and a pitcher of beer + tip? The yearly account, I mean. Then I wonder how long has it been since I ate pizza? Why do I have to make up my mind? I sit on the edge of my beanstalk for a few min. and think something like this, and then I post this, here.

I almost found a group or two even. It is just that I never got down to the point where how my art and work would incorporate into the group, and decided it simpler to do my own thing, on my own time line.

haven’t sold my land and more importantly haven’t found the group I want to join. It is true that I haven’t been busy looking as I should .. sigh RL. But, I am in 24 of the allowed 25 groups, :-) a wee bit insane. or er? daunting when one logs in anyway.

I’m thinking about making a new group SL idiots anonymous for those who get lost in multiple IM channels, fall off of chairs and walls, get trapped in houses and have to TP out. etc .. and general text foot in mouth to typed in wrong orifice type boo boos.

I was listening to a group in IM, then talking with one person in IM, then there was a phone call in RL and I’m trying to answer questions, and not be rude, and I just can’t do the multiple call secretary thing at all. Because all of the sudden either I got another IM from a group and that TAB is on top by default? but the stuff I was talking about to the person in the sim was getting feed back from this group in IM and the worst part to me is that I can’t remember who was on those tabs, and I logged out because of the phone call and poof.. tis all gone I guess :-( damn need to go change my chi’ .
