What is unique?

Posted by Gal Canning on March 25th, 2008

Hey everybody,

Did you ever had a plan to do or make something.
Something you thought of you’ll be the first to do or make.

An after starting the initiative somebody drops by and says “hey that is cute, I saw something like that yesterday on ‘Whatever island’.”

With billions of people on this earth bulb and millions of people on virtual worlds, who can expect that his or her idea is absolutely unique.

On discovery channel they kind of proved the thesis that when you put a zillion monkeys on a zillion typewriters one of these monkeys would type an exact copy of a shakespear play. So what is unique….

Everybody appears to have a double, a look-alike. So what is unique…even in nature.

But should that be a reason why not start an initiative?
Should that have been a reason for Shakespear not to write Hamlet?
And should apple trees stop producing apples?

Well NO. Because you never know whether YOUR interpretation of this “something” actually will be unique. And if it isn’t…who cares.
You had a good time doing it or making it. You put in your best effort and can be proud of the result.

So although there might be 100th of cruise ships in Second Life, I’m going to make an other one.
With a maze below deck and a casino with legal games and a party zone beyond believe and a swimming pool and …

That is what I’m going to do. On Avatarum.
I let you know when I’m finished to celebrate the maiden voyage.
