Interesting times are a coming

Now with the ban on gambling it will be interesting times. It will be nice to see the popular places in search change from casinos etc to other more interesting places. I wonder now if this change will force people to be more creative in SL. It must be kinda sad for the Lindens to see all the popular places in SL being gambling and sex, as well as a world full of sploder hunters. Not quite their vision of SL I imagine. Perhaps this will get the creative juices flowing in people or bring out more of those who are already there and could not get the big public exposure they need.
Now when I get home from work gotta take down that slot machine and sploder I have LOL

I couldn’t wait until I got home. I had to jump in world while I was still at work and check out my property. Yea! For the first time in months there is NO lag! No more campers or slot machines! The sim is quiet and beautiful.
I wish I hadn’t sold half of my land last week but I’m sure the old casino property is about to go up for sale. You can argue freedom vs virtue all you want. My selfish point of view is happy to have that thing out of my neighborhood. Now if I could just get the registered sex offenders living next door in my RL to move away I would be happy. (not kidding)

With a new mainland continent going up, should be interesting to see how casino land and island firesales affect prices.

I am glad too see scam machines gone too. But just don’t tell me sex is going to disappear too :p because it is not the same thing as gambling and should be considered quite OK between consenting adult residents, right?
Now, child porn should be next to go, or here’s wishing. This could send me into a wild rant, but instead of that, I would just like to point out to whom it may concern that kid sex skins are sold at several places. *sigh. That’s something very hard to grasp within good community standards. Can someone please get the place rid of those?
